Step-by-Step to Get Rid of Grease Stains

As with any other dirt, it is best to wash grease stains as soon as they appear. When the grease stains and dirt penetrate deep into the fabric's fibers, it will be much more difficult to get rid of them. In addition, it is necessary to remember and follow steps for removing grease stains, regardless of the type of fabric from which the clothes are made and the degree of stale stains:

1. Having found grease stains on the fabric, it is necessary to separate this thing from the rest of the mass of dirty laundry and treat it separately.
2. Shake out the item and clean the dry dirt with a clothes brush.
3. Prepare the cleaning mixture and the necessary items for work: cotton disks, a piece of cotton cloth, and a brush.
4. When choosing a cleaning agent, you should consider the type of matter, the durability of its coloring, and the age of pollution. At the beginning of the work, a weak solution is used, the concentration gradually increasing depending on the fabric's resistance.
5. Before cleaning grease stains, you should test the cleaning solution on a small area in an inconspicuous place.
6. The product is flat, with the left side facing outward. A flap of cotton cloth, preferably white, is placed under the grease stains.
7. With a cotton swab soaked in the prepared cleaning solution, light movements soak the fabric in the place of pollution. The movement should be directed from the edge to the center to blot, not blur.
8. After removing stains, clothes can be washed in a machine or by hand and hung to dry.
